1. Simply fill the ice cube trays with the juices you have decided to use as cubes.
2. Place trays in freezer and keep in there until you are ready to serve the drinks.
Pink Sorbet
2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit (frozen strawberries best)
1/4 cup of water
1 T of lemon juice
1. Place the fruit, sugar, water, and lemon juice into the blender or in a bowl and blend it all until it is all slushy.
2. Pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer for about an hour.
3. Take it out of the freezer and blend it again until smooth.
4. Place it back into freezer until ready to serve.
Valentine Milkshake
strawberry ice cream
milk
red food coloring, strawberry jam, or frozen strawberries
1. Put a big scoop of ice cream and a cup or so of milk in a bowl or blender and add one drop of red food coloring to add more color.
2. You can also for a more flavorsome drink add some strawberry jam or frozen strawberries.
3. Blend it all until the shake is thick and creamy.
4. Serve the milkshake in a tall glass with some straws.
Valentine Fizz
bright red fruit juice
soda or seltzer
slices of lemon, lime or orange
ice cube tray
1. Make up trays consisting of the juices you wish to make into cubes.
2. Place the trays in the freezer.
3. Mix together even amounts of red juice and the soda or seltzer into a glass and add the juice cubes.
4. On top of the drink place a slice of lemon, lime or orange to add a bit of festivity.
These are some easy Valentine recipes to make for someone special to show them you love & care for them. These recipes call for strawberries, but I'm sure in most cases cherries would work too.
